Senior Engineering Advisor

Senior Spectrum Engineer sought for our Washington, DC office with a minimum of ten years’ experience working in the communications industry.  Applicants with excellent understanding of domestic and international spectrum issues before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA), and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) are sought to assume responsibility in our nationally recognized Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) practice group.  Specific responsibilities will include advising clients regarding spectrum questions and issues; providing advice and consultation on spectrum transactions including license transfers; and understanding and communicating strategic uses of spectrum, including issues related to unmanned aircrafts, autonomous vehicles, and other Internet of Things applications.  This senior member of the TMT team will also mentor, advise and support attorneys in drafting comments and communications before various regulatory agencies.  All applicants should have excellent references and academic background, demonstrated attention to detail, and superior analytical skills.  FCC, NTIA, or ITU experience is preferred.  Telecommuting or other flexible work arrangements available.
