Communications Practice Partner Henry Rivera Discusses Minority Media Ownership on Comcast Newsmakers

Henry Rivera, a partner in Wiley Rein's Communications Practice and a former Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), was interviewed on the television program Comcast Newsmakers about minority ownership of media and telecommunications facilities. Mr. Rivera, who is chair of the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council, discussed topics such as why minority ownership is low, advertising on minority owned radio and television stations and the scope of the FCC's regulatory jurisdiction. Mr. Rivera also discussed the FCC's federal advisory committee on diversity, which he chairs.
