Wiley Rein Partnership with the George Mason University School of Law Supreme Court Clinic Garners Press Coverage

Associated Press; The Wall Street Journal Law Blog
March 1, 2012

The Supreme Court Clinic at the George Mason University School of Law-a partnership with Wiley Rein attorneys-was featured in an Associated Press article that focused on the program and the opportunities it provides for law students.  The Wall Street Journal Law Blog, which was among the media outlets that picked up the Associated Press story, also discussed the Clinic.

The Clinic, which is led by Wiley Rein partners Thomas McCarthy and William Consovoy, provides pro bono legal representation before the United States Supreme Court and gives George Mason law students the opportunity to work closely with Wiley Rein attorneys to identify cases of interest, research legal issues and draft Supreme Court briefs on behalf of parties and amici at both the certiorari and merits stages. Speaking to the Associated Press, Mr. McCarthy said "one thing we've told students from the very start is, 'You should approach this like a job.'"
