Wiley Rein & Fielding Attorney Authors "Professional Liability Chapter" in Holmes' Appleman on Insurance

October 21, 2003

Washington, DC—Wiley Rein & Fielding attorney David H. Topol has authored the "Professional Liability Chapter" in Holmes' Appleman on Insurance, 2d, published in Fall 2003. This is the first time a volume on professional liability has been included in the authoritative, 68-volume manual of comprehensive research and analysis of insurance issues.

"The recent high-profile corporate crises underscore the importance of understanding the scope of coverage under numerous forms of professional liability insurance," says Daniel J. Standish, a partner in the firm’s Insurance and Litigation practice groups and prominent professional liability attorney. "The breadth and depth of WRF's professional liability practice continues to expand, and we have been fortunate to add a number of highly talented attorneys to our ranks, including David Topol."

Topol is Of Counsel in Wiley Rein & Fielding’s Insurance and Appellate Practices. He represents insurance carriers in connection with a variety of professional liability policies, including banking, mutual fund, investment adviser, directors and officer’s policies.

WRF’s prominent Insurance Practice includes more than forty attorneys who devote their professional time to a variety of areas including the whole gamut of disputes involving claims, underwriting, bad faith, professional liability, reinsurance, fraud, regulation and bankruptcy.
