The Insurance Law Forum will serve the large number of insurance coverage practitioners in the Washington, DC area, providing opportunities for dialogue between counsel for insurers and policyholders, education about insurance law issues and networking.  The Insurance Law Forum will host regular professional activities, including luncheons, a speaker series and periodic evening events.  Along with Wiley Rein's Laura Foggan, the other Insurance Law Forum co-chairs are Kelley Drye & Warren LLP partner Donna L. Wilson and Navigant Consulting Managing Director Andrea Tecce.

The establishment of the WBA Insurance Law Forum reflects the significant roles that women are taking in the insurance coverage litigation field, and will help fulfill the WBA missions of promoting improvements in the law and aiding the careers of women lawyers.  Founded in 1917, the WBA celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, making it one of the oldest and largest voluntary bar associations in metropolitan Washington, DC.
