Wiley Rein to Host a Presidential “Take Your Child to Work Day” Program
On April 24, Wiley Rein, which prides itself on its family-friendly culture, will host more than 40 children during the firm’s 2008 “Take Your Child to Work Day.” As part of this annual tradition, employees are invited to bring their children, ages 9-17, to experience a fun-filled day in the office and to participate in an exciting, age-appropriate program.
In keeping with the political season, the day’s theme will be a imaginary presidential campaign (no actual candidates need apply). With the involvement of members of the firm’s Election Law & Government Ethics Practice, the children will learn about the process electing a president—from holding press conferences and creating campaign ads to fundraising and the actual nomination.
For the last 16 years Wiley Rein has hosted structured programs and organized activities for its employees’ children as part of an expansive staff appreciation week that features service awards and a wide range of special events.
