Wiley Rein's Thomas Navin and Hilda Legg Featured Speakers at 2012 Broadband Communities Summit
Wiley Rein partner Thomas J. Navin will be interviewed by consultant Hilda G. Legg at the 2012 Broadband Communities Summit during a session entitled "Good-Bye, Universal Service Fund. Hello, Connect America Fund. What Will the New Regulations Mean for Rural Broadband?" The gathering of leading rural broadband experts will cover the industry's most important topics and will include the Rural Telecommunications Congress' annual event.
Ms. Legg, a former administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service, is serving as a Co-Chair of the Summit. Mr. Navin is a former chief of the Federal Communications Commission's Wireline Competition Bureau, where he played a key role in developing national policies governing broadband networks. Wiley Rein is a sponsor of the three-day conference, which is being held in Dallas, Texas from April 24-26.
