Veteran White Collar Lawyer Ralph Caccia Joins Wiley Rein

Experienced trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor Ralph J. Caccia has joined Wiley Rein as a partner in its White Collar Defense Practice.  Mr. Caccia's practice focuses on white collar issues, corporate internal investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) matters, health care fraud, criminal antitrust cases, the defense of government enforcement actions and Congressional investigations.

Prior to joining Wiley Rein, Mr. Caccia was chair of the White Collar Crime & Government Investigations Practice at the law firm of Akerman Senterfitt.  He represented defense contractors and health care providers in criminal and civil False Claims Act investigations and handled numerous internal investigations for a range of companies.  In addition, Mr. Caccia has represented several individuals in a number of high-profile public corruption investigations.  During Mr. Caccia's tenure as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, he prosecuted numerous jury trials. 

Mr. Caccia joins a cadre of former assistant U.S. attorneys at Wiley Rein.  The group represents a broad range of major companies and individuals in criminal, civil and Congressional investigations and related litigation and specializes in matters involving the False Claims Act and related qui tam suits, the Anti-Kickback Act, FCPA, Congressional ethics, campaign finance, the Hatch Act and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), among other areas.
