Wiley Rein’s Brian Pandya to Speak at Two Conferences in India

Brian H. Pandya, a partner in Wiley Rein’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Practices, will give two speeches in India next week on intellectual property (IP) rights.

On January 28, Mr. Pandya will give a presentation titled “Are Business Method Patents Still Alive in the United States?” at the Global IP Convention (GIPC) in Bangalore. Delegates from all of India’s leading companies are slated to attend GIPC, the largest IP conference in Asia. Other attendees will include lawyers, judges and academics from around the world.

On January 31, Mr. Pandya will speak at a Confederation of Indian Industry meeting in Ahmedabad, leading an interactive session on intellectual property rights in the U.S.

Mr. Pandya represents a variety clients in matters relating to the enforcement and procurement of intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on patent litigation and counseling. He litigates high-stakes patent disputes involving technologies such as consumer electronics, software, telecommunications, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
