Wiley Rein & Fielding Hosts Russian Business and Trade Delegation
Washington, DC—Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP hosted a delegation of aviation industry business executives and engineers, trade association leaders, investors and university heads from the former Soviet Union (Russia and Eurasian countries) who were in the United States for the SABIT Technology Commercialization Program.
The program, presented in both English and Russian, was organized by attorney, Edwin O. Bailey, and included presentations from John B. Reynolds, III, David J. Kulik and Gregory P. Cirillo. Information was shared and discussed about the legal and regulatory aspects of commercialization and technology transfer in the aviation industry in the U.S. and worldwide. Patent and trademark strategies, U.S. export controls and financing were also explored.

Established in 1992, the SABIT Technology Commercialization Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce, assists managers and scientists with training in economic restructuring, industry overviews, cross-cultural training and provides opportunities for introductions to U.S. business executives and government officials.
