REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Represents domestic and foreign clients in federal and state courts and before various government agencies and arbitration bodies, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc.
- Advises clients on developing contests and complying with federal and state sweepstakes laws.
- Won the dismissal of a landmark trademark case of first impression involving product designs for a large manufacturer of household products.
- Won recent deceptive advertising cases on behalf of several consumer product companies before the NAD.
- Persuaded the Federal Trade Commission not to bring deceptive advertising complaints against two leading consumer products companies.
- Won dismissal of trademark case, after trial, between two large food products companies.
- Won recent domain name lawsuits for large manufacturer: UDRP procedure and Anticybersquatting Act in federal court.
