Environment & Safety Associate
Associate for our Washington, DC office with 2 – 4 years of experience in regulatory environmental, hazardous materials or consumer product regulatory matters to join our highly-regarded Environment & Safety practice. Ideal candidates will have pesticides, chemicals, air, hazardous materials, product stewardship, or consumer product regulatory experience, including related litigation. Academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing and communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines are sought to assume responsibility in our nationally recognized practice group.
Associate for our Washington, DC office with 3 – 5 years of experience in litigation (including research, discovery, and motions practice) to join our Litigation practice. Seeking academically distinguished applicants with strong brief writing and oral advocacy skills. Federal clerkship preferred. All applicants should have excellent references.
Litigation Special Counsel
Wiley Rein LLP currently seeks a litigator to complement our existing litigation capabilities. Qualified candidates will have at least six years of deposition, motions practice, and litigation strategy experience. Academically distinguished applicants who have the ability to manage all aspects of litigation, extensive federal litigation experience, and superior brief writing skills are sought to assume responsibility for research, analysis, and drafting of motions, briefs and other pleadings on complex, high value cases. District clerkship and/or appellate clerkship required. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and references. Please note that this is a non-partnership track position with an 1,800 billable hour requirement.
White Collar Associate
Associate for our Washington, DC office with 3 - 4 years of experience in Government and Congressional investigations, False Claims Act, civil enforcement matters, and/or litigation to join our highly-regarded White Collar practice. Qualified candidates must have prior prosecutorial or Government investigations experience. District clerkship and/or appellate clerkship preferred. Academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines are sought to assume a client-facing role with significant responsibility.
