We offer pre-law and law school fellowships for talented individuals seeking exposure to the law firm environment and pursuing law school. We also partner with clients and external organizations offering programs aimed to increase the pipeline of diverse talent in law firms and beyond.

Wiley 1L/2L Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship

As a sign of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession, we offer fellowships to 1L and 2L law students who have demonstrated academic, leadership, and/or professional accomplishments and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Fellows will receive a position in Wiley’s summer associate program, as well as the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 1L Scholarship Program, which provides networking and professional development opportunities to law students who are historically underrepresented in the law.  Fellows are also eligible to receive up to $25,000 in financial assistance for law school expenses.

Wiley Pre-Law Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship

Wiley is proud to have created the Pre-Law Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship, awarded to college graduates who have demonstrated academic, leadership, and/or professional accomplishments and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.  Fellows will receive a paralegal position with the firm, a monetary award, and assistance with LSAT preparation and examination costs. Our paralegals work directly with our attorneys through training and experience, building key skills, working on client-billable matters, preparing legal documents, performing research and analysis, and supporting the organization and management of cases.  Fellows also receive mentorship and networking opportunities with our attorneys and business professionals.

Federal Communications Bar Association Diversity Pipeline Program (DPP)

Since 2021, Wiley has partnered with DPP to identify 1L candidates to join our Summer Associate Program. DPP attracts, develops, trains, and supports first-year law students with diverse experiences and backgrounds interested in pursuing legal careers in technology, media, and telecommunications law and policy.

AT&T Summer Fellows Program

Since 2022, Wiley has participated in AT&T’s Summer Fellows Program, which affords law firm summer associates the opportunity to spend two weeks working on assignments and networking with AT&T in-house counsel.
