Andrew McBride Discusses FCC Enforcement Bureau’s Role in Net Neutrality

Law360
July 9, 2015

Andrew G. McBride, chair of Wiley Rein’s Communications Appellate & Litigation Practice, was quoted in a July 7 Law360 article about the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) enforcement of rules such as this year’s Open Internet Order.

Through its enforcement of that order, the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau is empowered to build net neutrality policy, according to the article.

“There are a lot of blurry lines that will be filled out by the Enforcement Bureau on a case-by-case basis as complaints are brought” related to the net neutrality order, Mr. McBride said.
