Megan Brown Previews Supreme Court’s New Term

In a radio interview with CNN affiliate WEBY in Florida, Megan L. Brown, a partner at Wiley Rein, previewed the Supreme Court’s new term, discussing cases ranging from reargument in Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum, involving the extraterritorial reach of the Alien Tort Statute, to criminal procedure cases like Florida v. Jardines and Florida v. Harris, addressing dog sniffs and searches under the Fourth Amendment.  Ms. Brown addressed an important case involving the ability of plaintiffs to challenge national security legislation, Clapper v. Amnesty Int’l, in which Ms. Brown filed a brief on behalf of six former United States Attorneys General.   She also discussed notable cases that may come before the Court in the near future.
