Three Wiley Rein & Fielding Insurance Attorneys Named to the Partnership

Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP is pleased to announce that three attorneys who practice in the firm's professional liability insurance area have been elected to the partnership.

  • Jason Cronic frequently represents directors and officers liability insurers in coverage litigation and in claims under D&O policies. He also represents insurers in coverage disputes under a broad range of other professional liability coverages. He graduated in 1993 from the University of Chicago Law School. He received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University.
  • Meredith Fuchs regularly counsels insurers on issues related to the Internet, e-commerce and privacy exposures. She also represents professional liability insurers in coverage litigation and monitors ongoing litigation on their behalf. Meredith is a graduate of the New York University Law School and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining WRF, she clerked for the Honorable Patricia Wald on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Honorable Paul Friedman of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
  • Leslie Platt
  • represents professional liability insurers in coverage litigation under directors and officers liability policies. She also serves as counsel to the Insurers' Technology Litigation Roundtable. Leslie has been a member of the firm's insurance practice since graduating from the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law, where she was an editor of the law review. She received her undergraduate degree from Albion College.
