Wiley Rein & Fielding Congratulates Thomas Griffith on His Confirmation to the U.S. Court of Appeals

Washington, DC — Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP congratulates its former partner Thomas B. Griffith on his recent confirmation to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.  The lifetime appointment to the federal court caps a distinguished career in both the private and public sectors.

Griffith, who was a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Litigation practices, left the firm in the mid 1990’s to serve as the Senate’s legal counsel, where he played an active role in a wide array of Senate investigations as well as the impeachment trial of President Clinton.  Griffith briefly resumed his private practice at WRF for a time before assuming his most recent post as general counsel at his alma mater, Brigham Young University, in 2000.
