February 15, 2018

Washington, DC — For the eighth consecutive year, Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business has included Wiley Rein’s International Trade and Privacy & Cybersecurity practices in its worldwide rankings.

In addition, several of the firm’s attorneys were again singled out by Chambers Global 2018 as leaders in their fields. Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice chair Kirk J. Nahra, named a Leading Lawyer in Privacy & Data Security, is described by clients as “one of the best in the industry” and someone who “can balance reality and risk very well.” The publication notes Mr. Nahra’s “highly regarded” work on health care privacy and data matters, including HIPAA, health technology, data breaches, and risk management. His work advising insurers on a variety of issues – including defending companies against government investigations and facilitating internal investigations – is also profiled.

International Trade Practice chair Alan H. Price was selected as a Leading Lawyer in the area of Trade Remedies & Trade Policy. Mr. Price, who is described as “attentive, responsive and insightful,” is noted for bringing three decades of experience to bear in trade regulatory matters. The publication also points to his extensive experience with litigation that includes countervailing duty and antidumping cases, as well as non-contentious work.

Partner Timothy C. Brightbill, also named a Leading Lawyer in Trade Remedies & Trade Policy, garnered praise for his “penetrating intelligence and deep knowledge of dense trade issues and multi-factorial business issues related to trade.” He is also cited for his ability to “come through” for clients.

The Chambers Global rankings span the legal markets of more than 190 countries and are based on extensive interviews with clients and attorneys.
