Megan Brown to Lead Cybersecurity Law & Policy Program at George Mason University Law School’s National Security Institute
Washington, DC — Megan L. Brown, partner in Wiley Rein’s Telecom, Media & Technology and Privacy & Cybersecurity practices, was today named Senior Fellow and Program Director of the Cybersecurity Law & Policy Program for the National Security Institute (NSI) at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School.
Ms. Brown is a member of NSI’s inaugural class of Visiting Fellows, announced last fall, which includes more than 30 experts representing decades of combined experience and service in federal counterterrorism, defense, and intelligence agencies and private sector ventures.
NSI serves as a platform for research, teaching, scholarship, and policy development that incorporates a realistic assessment of the threats facing the United States and its allies, as well as an appreciation of the legal and practical challenges facing U.S. intelligence, defense, law enforcement, homeland security, and cybersecurity communities.
